Modified Waffle Mitts Progress

Good Morning! 
I must say, it is a great feeling to have my hands busy again! Above is the new and improved Waffle Mitt in Saffron. I have some sizing adjustments to make, and a left mitt to finish and these guys will be complete.

Oh, how lovely it is, to feel the yarn run through my fingers again. Iv'e been working on some modifications and knitting all day. Back to some serious work for this lady! :D

Knitting Withdrawals

I am very eager to start knitting again! These past few days I have been sulking a bit, not being able to knit. I am determined to try this coming Monday.

The yarn I ordered has been shipped! So excited! At least by then I will be able to knit again. What a shame that would be, to stare at a box of glorious yarn and not be able to knit it.

Skate 1 Finger 0 = Stitches

Hey everyone! The hubby and I had a wonderful Sunday morning, skating on the canal. It was interrupted by a little accident, which resulted in the afternoon spent in the ER getting stitches. Sad to say, the injury is on my hand, so no knitting for me for a few days. :( Thank God it is on my left hand though, so that I can get back to knitting very soon!

Yaaaay, modifications on the Hedgehog Mitts are finished. There is going to be two sizes available,  0-6 mos and 6-12.

Magic Loopin' it up

Sipping some hot tea and making some progress this week. :) 

I have always been a dpn (double pointed needle) kind of girl, but have finally gave in to the magic loop. Knitting two small things at once on circular needles?! Yes, how efficient  it is! 

What about you? Have you tried the magic loop? What do you prefer?
