Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Summer has for sure made itself known, here in Ontario. Hot, very hot, so hot that I've been having trouble knitting, even with cotton! I have air conditioning in the bedroom...so as you can imagine, that's where I've been doing a lot of my knitting this week.
I was working on a design for some summer shoes, but still need a bit more time to develop the ideas and such, so in the meantime I started on the next, a lovely spring/summer baby bonnet. In the picture above, I'm using a cotton/modal fiber mix. It's light and breathable, with a silky touch to it-it's my first time knitting with this kind of fiber mixture...I like it.
