The Little Joys

In every week, there are little joys spread throughout. You know, those little things that brighten up your day? Make your week that much better?
I'm going to start celebrating those joys more often, here, with all of you. In me acknowledging my joys more often, I think it will make me more of a thankful person. It truly is the little things in life that can make such an impact on I right?

Little joys of this week>>>

*The little conversations I have with the care taker of our apartment building-really sweet lady.

*Picking the fresh hot peppers from our window garden and getting to enjoy it in our entree(they were very hot indeed).

*Coffee, coffee, coffee. Never fails to makes my mornings great-two cups, that is.

*Getting onto the bus, and it not being full...YAY!

*I now have a new nephew, who was born on Canada day weekend! (Ok. Maybe that's a big joy.)

*Taking strolls through nice neighborhoods with my favorite human(my husband), admiring the houses and landscaping, all while dreaming about having a home of our own one day.

*Getting to talk to my sister on the phone...I miss her soooo much.

*Exchanging emails with loved ones...thank God for email!

*Finding out that I am 2 months away from hearing about my sponsorship, the beginning process of my immigration to close.

*Ok, I know there's more that I can't think of right now. I'll get better at this.

Happy Friday!

  1. Completely agree about acknowledging the little joys in life. :) My friends and I sometimes send each other our 'grateful three', just three things that we were grateful for that day.

    Good luck for your sponsorship!

    1. Thanks for sharing! I find it's easy to get lost in the negativity of our daily lives, especially when in the midst of it-in thinking about those little joys in our day to day life, I think it helps in making us more grateful, looking towards all the positives, rather than the negatives.
Awww, thank you very much. That is very sweet of you. :) Have a wonderful evening!
